What is the Sugar Buster’s Diet?

The sugar buster’s diet is a popular Detox diet program that allows the dieter to reduce the amount of sugar within the diet – which can lead to weight loss. This is an effective way to lose weight through the strict diet plan that can lead to inches being lost to the tune of one to two pounds per week.

There are certain foods that are omitted from the diet plan of the person that is following the Sugar buster’s diet, these foods are: white bread, pasta, white flour, desserts, potatoes, corn and any products that are made from white flour. Refined foods are often high in carbohydrates and should be avoided throughout the course of the weight loss program. Canned fruits are high in sugar and should be avoided – many dieters are unaware that many natural fruits are high in carbohydrates and are also avoided through the process of the sugar buster’s diet.

This does not complete the list of foods that are not allowed to be consumed throughout the duration of the diet. The food list is vast that the dieter is not allowed to consume – but don’t let this deter you from trying the diet. Apparently, there have been dieters that have seen great results from following the diet, which is similar to many other low carbohydrate diets that are currently popular.

So, now that we know which foods are not allowed on the diet, which are foods that are allowed to be consumed through the diet? Here is a list of foods which are allowed to be consumed throughout the process of the Sugar buster’s diet – vegetables that are low in carbohydrates, nuts, eggs and other low fat dairy products can be consumed on a regular basis. Foods like fruit juices should be consumed in moderation, as they are high in carbohydrates but provide the body with valuable vitamins and nutrients.

These foods are used t adhere to the fact that 40% of the foods which are consumed throughout the diet program be high in fiber and contain small amounts of carbohydrates, as this can help the weight loss process and help the dieter to achieve their weight loss goals. The other portions of the diet are recommended to contain 30% from protein laden foods and 30% from foods that are high in protein.

Although there is a significant food list that the dieter is not allowed consuming throughout the diet. Lean meats and healthy fats are used to create a balanced diet that can give the dieter energy while taking part in the sugar buster’s diet. With many other diets, the dieter begins to lose energy through the diet process as there are few calories being consumed. With this diet, you are able to consume enough calories to maintain a high energy level and have enough energy to complete an exercise program to compliment the weight loss program.
